Three Tips to Parisian flair

 Here are three quick tips on getting Parisian flair in your home.

1. Furniture

Know your Louis!  If you want your home to feel a bit more like Paris then you have to have the right furniture. Rococo, Baroque and all the Louis will work well. Just don’t go overboard. A Louis chair here, a chaise there and you are well on your way to a Parisian apartment.

2. Wallpaper

Plain white walls in a Paris apartment?  I think not. Wallpaper, murals, or gilded ornamentation are a must. Preferably something floral or nature in theme will do the trick.

3. Lighting

Go ahead and get your bling on. Pull out that 18^th century over sized chandelier you’ve been hiding in your garage and hang it somewhere in your home where it can’t be missed. If your chandelier isn’t making tiny prism rainbows on your walls every day, then it’s not Parisian enough.
