Barbie's such a classic... I love how simple and elegant this reproduction is!
Barbie was my role model growing up. I look up to her in so many ways. I just hope that if I have a girl one day she will be as inspired by Barbie as I was.
I was a Christie fan growing up-mainly because she was the "black" Barbie. Her wardrobe was fabulous as was her townhouse, her sports car, and her camping gear:)

While I never officially fell-of-the-wagon (so to speak) my six-year-old daughter has really revived my love of all things Barbie. So much so that I had a really hard time wrapping up the two I bought her for Christmas. They lived in my clothes closet until the last minute and I looked at them every day :)

Barbie is a classic, she is timeless and enduring, yet ever changing and modern enough to fit in with today's youth. We love Barbie in my household, and in addition to our Barbies that we play with, we also have a few collectible ones to admire.
