If covering hardwood floors with a rug is one of your pet peeves then you should try a bold painted on graphic. The wood would still shine through while adding definition to the space. If only my apartment had hardwood floors...Happy Decorating Everyone!

I love that! Do you have any suggestions on a removeable, yet durable paint? Since I'm renting, I'd like something I can scrape or wash off when I move out, but rub away from daily walking.

That's a very sharp look and I love it. I have an expensive and very fine rug that I no longer lay down in my living room because I hate the dust and dirt.
