So I've decided to take the purple plunge in my master bedroom. I'm not really sure when I'm really going to start the redo but I've already found some great pieces. I found a great purple silhouette fabric at Calico Corners. They have a good sale going on right now until August 14th. I plan on using it on the Louis chairs I found on craigslist. The small sewing table was a steal. All it needs is a bit of TLC and it will make an awesome desk. I plan on cleaning out my garage this weekend so I can get all these projects started. Not a fun way to spend the weekend but it will be well worth it...Happy Weekend Everyone!Purple Fabric for Louis Chairs

I just did the same. I put purple touches in the master bathroom and purchased a new satiny bedcover/sham set in a lighter tone. Now I'm making drapes for the windows in a coordinating silk. I'm not going as bold as your inspiration photo and I keep wondering what is holding me back? Maybe I need to rethink at least colorful rugs. Thanks
I love those chairs and the fabric will look great on them. Do you plan on painting them?
@Debra, what is holding you back? You can always go bold with your paint color. If you don't like it you can easily change it. Or pick up that colorful rug. If it doesn't work just take it back. Everyone needs a bit of color in their lives. =)
@Tonia, yes I'm going to paint them white or black. Not sure which yet but I think either color would look good...what do you think?
