Playing With Markers

My rendering with markers class went well. I had lots of fun and learned more about markers than any 3rd grader should know. The chair above was my favorite project of the day because it has a lot of detail and we used a number of different shades to get the lighting right. I’m no artist now but I’m really happy I took the class. Can’t wait to continue the series with perspective renderings…Happy Sketching Everyone!

Hey, your drawing looks great! If you are not an artist, I'm not sure what it takes to be one. Enjoy your class and I love those prismacolor markers, drawing with them feels almost like painting.

What a lovely rendering. I like to use prismacolors for my perspectives. There is still something so wonderful about handwork versus the computer...

You are doing great, can't wait to see more!

Samantha

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I use prismacolor colored pencils and chartpak markers. My instructor told me to us non-alcoholic markers because they don’t dry out as fast…I’m always looking to save a buck.
