Valentines day is just a week after my love and I have our anniversary.. We use the time between these two dates to record the stories-of-us from the previous year
I love Valentines day b/c for me and my adorable husband it's an excuse to drink Champagne and eat pizza. That has been our tradition since the first year we spent together. No presents - just bubbles and Dominos Pizza - and I wouldn't change it for the world!

I love Valentines Day because it reminds you to express the love/appreciation you have for others, but don't always show in day-to-day life.

Well... I am quite excited for Valentines day this year - I have never been a fan of the holiday until now - most boys have usually dumped me right around the holiday :( so sad, and so true - and this year my boyfriend and I are going to wine country and staying in a bed and breakfast and doing it up!! We are actually going to be celebrating a week late, but still - I have never loved the holiday before -- and for once I finally get to!!
Valentines day is all about love..not just the opposite sex kind, but in general. An grandmother, a child..a spouse...regardless...its about love and showing it on that special day.
For me Valentines Day is a way of sharing love for everyone.

I love Valentine's Day for the awesome excuse to mix pink, purple and red all together in one big girlie package {often full of chocolate}. Colors that don't always 'match' combined in ruthless abandon, yes please!! Oh and my boyfriend ;-)
I love the tasty food that we always get to eat on valentines day...and my husband is nice too! (haha)
Even though we are no longer together, my Beloved proposed marriage to me on Valentine's Day in 1976. We were married in August of 1977. We had dated for a pretty long while, but he was so nervous, and I didn't realize why until he popped the question later that evening!! It was so sweet and so romantic. And even though we are now divorced, Valentine's Day will always be ever so special, because he will always be the love of my life!
I love valentines day because, every year my hubby makes me a great meal he really goes all out.. I love him so much!
Me! Me! Pick Me! Valentines day is the best! My husband and I love it so much, we dropped the boys off with my mom and we're spending the whole weekend together.

I love Valentines day....also not much! My husband is going over to a friends house because it's the only day they have anytime soon to do man things together. Tonight I'm making pizza while he plays a video game upstairs. But bah, romance on one day is overrated, it's the overall that counts!
And those books are simply gorgeous, I'm headed over to pick out the ones I want to have sitting on my bookshelves now!
